worlds of word

Where once words withheld the world

knowing not these things

eyes are opened

panoramas of perception bloom

in fields of infinite possibility

riding the tides of waves of winds

the momentum ensues to form

in the shape and space that suites its norm

Made the same mistake again

Made the same mistake again
Forgot that all this world's pretend
All the people playing like their the lead
In a feature film or broadway play
They dramatize the demise of all their so called needs
And well,
this time
as times before
I joined right in
Fitting all to well again
Into the skin
Of my former fearful self
My martyr marrionete
My playful puppet of possesion
This playground of meat muppets
Mistaking themselves as master
Pulling at the strings of things
they know not nor wish to ever understand
I took their hand and abandoned reason for their madness
It seems somewhere deep inside of me
Unresolved issuse with this mortality resurface periodically
But despite myself must I pull away
Must I take a breath
A break to breathe from all the insanity
For never have I fully fit within
One day I look forward to never enter in again

Is there not a woman in all this world

Is there not a woman in all this world
Who abides by the words she speaks
One who speaks daringly and boldly lives
Have all women forgoten their hidden power
Their strength to bare any hardship set before their path
The devine determination of the feminine
seems to have dwindled to my dismay
O great creator reveal the warrior woman of old
Let her be
known by me
I ask of thee
For I tire of the timid
Grown weary of the weak
And restless with the regretful
Let my love and I live for now
Let us show the zombies of these societies the legacy of living
Let our passion burn a flame
Which never knows the cold night of complacency
Let this fire rekindle the spark
That was long ago lost in the eyes of humanity
Like a moth to the flames let us lose ourselves
So we may rise as the phoenix
From out of the ashes of our humanity
Into the spirit of our divnity

Talk me up talk me down

She talks me up
She talks me down
But seldom does the truth abound
For she does not see
What is me
Only
What she projects on to
Its her only view
Looking through her biased eyes
Her sight's so compromised
So she does not recognize
The many lies she clothes me with
And only sees what she's always seen

This lazy summer day

This lazy summer day
I drive this long and desolate desert way
With no companion
No destination
I drive
Windows down
Wind a blowin
Goin down the 10 to tucson
Do I drive
Stranded cars
Stranded folk
Stranded lives
Litter the alleys of this state
I roam
No home
Alone
Along the legnths
Of these long desert straights
I'm not lost
I'm not lonely
So just leave me to myself
Cause this lazy summer day
I'm driven this long and desolate desert way
With no companion
No destination
I'll drive till I'm done
For I roam
No home
Alone
Along the legnths
Of these long desert straights
I'm not lost
I'm not lonely
So just leave me to myself

Of swords, shields and bowls

Only in the face of seeming futility
Can one truly choose to embrace life
Upon the razors edge of your enemies sword
Will you walk the narrow path
With bleeding feet, with exposed bones
You will tread fast and true till you
See your enemies face in the light of life
Where he will be known as none other then the self
Finally then may you lay your sword and shield down
No longer at war with the world outside or in
You take up the bowl, not as a begger
But as an outward manifistaion
Of the vessel you have become
No longer resisting
No longer in denial
You allow the blessings of the one and the many
To fill the void you have prepared within your self
So you may share the wellspring
In accordance with the great spirit

The One and the many

Too easily do I forget my Self Getting caught up In the dream of this world Do I react out of habit A habit of learned ignorance Of unknown lies A habit of mistaken truths And pre-programed inheritance

In the midst of falling Am I jar'd awake In the aftermath I reflect in quiet contemplation Taking stock of the mess of consequence Do I question everything Tracing back in step Where once I entered in this labrynth

Now knowing my doppelganers genesis I seek to understand it's seemingly inherit nessecity Probing the darkness of insecurities Exploring the hidden coves of covert intents Do I search in shadow the cause of this creation

With the flame of awareness Do I shine the healing light of truth Upon the golden calf That was once myself And the world in which I lived

With the fire of forgivness Am I consumed by the Creators contentment Transformed in an alchamey of consciousness Reborn Arising from the ashes of fallen constructs Does the phoneix of understanding take flight Where in its wake Do the many marvels of the unknowable unfold

It is here you will find Me It is here you will find your Self It is here you will find the One and the many

sleep walking

this slumber i sleep is sly
deceivingly do i deem it reality
a waking-like state of seeming clarity
when did i first fall
how long have i slept
it seems i sleep in fits
with bits of truth that chirp like birds
upon the dawn of a sunrise
do they swoop in
upon the occasional awakenings i encounter
calling me to rise
to view a world without
the clear veneer of judgement and self deception
to see with eyes wide open
the truth, the love, the unity that is our reality

No assumptions inspired poem

I am not so foolish
as to be hopeful of others.
Instead,
I choose to let people live
and be pleasantly surprised
rather then predictably let down.
For too long
Have I placed faith in men...
To the point
where once I stood upon the edge of bitterness!
Starring down into those dark depths
I saw the reflection of a yet to be "me"
A Gollum like creature
Withdrawn, untrusting, and withered
Seeing myself in such a way
Gave such a powerful perspective
As to shake me
from the drunken stooper of a dream
No, rather the nightmare
that then was my life
In this awakening I was
Paradox-icly blinded
and yet gifted with new sight
As if emerging from a darkened cave
I shielded my eyes from the light of truth
So powerful it was
But as I slowly adjusted
Was I embraced in it's loving arms
Now fully immersed within the sea
At one with the ebb and flow
Do I go and yet don't go
Do I do and yet don't do
Am I am and yet am not

The charity of spirit

There's no reasoning with the world
For the world is mad
And has made men mad in its image
What use is a broken mirror
When one seeks a vision of truth
All images are warped
All perceptions tainted
Through the perversion of the socital mind
For how can an imperfect mind
Solve its own exsistence
It is only through the charity of spirit
That the purity of heart can be attained
And it is only by this state
That one can ever hope to fullfill
The potential of their fate

isn't it odd how life can be
isn't it strange how humans are
nature is all that makes sense to me

Of men and god

By just a thought
One has ought to take an act
Upon decesion life has already arrisin
To take the shape and manifistation
Of the choices one agrees to
Accordingly life reform-ingly correlates predictibly
And so are men made of thoughts
And gods made of corelating action
What lies between the two is but a vail
Opaque yet with light that does shine through

Where lovers meet

Ancient man once considered the kiss a sacred act
Where lips met and breath did interchange
Souls too intermingled and exchanged
In my promisuous youth I kissed quite a few
But each time I did and even till today
I hold my breath in anticipation for when we meet
One day our paths will cross
And on that day
a sigh of release and relief will escape these lips
Where our souls will meet in loves embrace

The luxury of silence

I no longer can afford the luxury of silence
Too long have I sat aside
While others would wrong the world
And I, in my quietude
Condone their questionable acts
No better off am I
For not having committed the crime
No, worse I be for quietly conspiring
By showing through my lack of any act
To oppose such wretched things
That I know no better way to be
I have lived this long enough
I have denied my heart
Ignored my soul and sought to drown my hopes
But the flame of my idealism
Will no longer be abandoned
The fortitude of the foundation upon which I stand
Has once again found sure footing, strong legs and a true voice
In my youth
I was made to think such ways might be acceptable
And an inner anger boils deep with animosity
For a world that would take advantage
Over such a handicap as a young boys naievity
But I have since grown
And as my anger dissipates
It leaves behind...
A residue of lucidity, of clarity a crystallization of concept
Where in I see myself and
The motivation which gives rise to the actions I must take
So I may lead the life that calls to me
I see the vision like so many dimonds sparkling in the sun
I see what life I have begun and how it leads off into the great mystery
The not knowing assures me
For it lets me know my path is right
To know is man but "To Be" is the way of deity

He who would know Me

What matter is truth
In a life without love
To what purpose does one endeavor
If not with the will of God
And what man would know Him
Without first knowing himself
And who can know oneself
Without forgiving
Their unnecessary hurts and harshness
No man knows the Father
But by through the Son
And no child shall know their Brother
Till they know their own Heart
And in that Heart
You will find your Brother, your Father
Where they have always been
Awaiting your arrival...
Welcome home

To create

What invention of man has ever surpassed the beauty of creation?
Never have I seen a device
Even in his art is he apart
From the devine harmony that is inherent in all of life
This is so for only one reason
When God creates,
It comes as an outpouring of love, a surge of understanding
When man endeavors to create
He does so from the perspective of want, lack and desire
God gives, man takes, God holds, man folds
Knowing this... looking out
One can't help but see
The many attempts of man
To better that which has already been perfected
Rather then embracing what is
Understanding it's necessity
And converging with the creativity of the Great Creator
He fails from the start, he takes apart and tries to analyze
And by this very act, in-lies his great demise
For to make such things as cold hard facts
One loses the warmth and pliability
That is requisite to give birth to cosmic creativity
