Who's to say

Who's to say
the laughing madman
on the corner of the street
isn't onto something more

And, who's to say
who's more crazy then me
I used to be
he, who would point and stare

Now I know
how blind I once was
back then
now I know
how hard my heart was
and how it held me back

Now I am that man
the one
you cross the street to miss
the one
who with friends you like to diss

But, tell me here
tell me now
which is the crazier...

Putting power upon companies and institutions
placing importance upon impermanance
or, would you rather
rest on what always is
relax in what will always be

tell me here
tell me now
who is the more blind...

He who works so hard
he never sees his life pass him by
or the other guy
who looks up into the sky
who only looks within his heart
and hears

You think me deaf and dumb
for no blink will break my stare
no words will break this state
only tears will show I'm here

For now I see the mirror that I am
and the reflections that you see
so now I cry each time you choose
to die to the life you loose
when you decide to live the lies you love
