Living and dying I am

I am but one of innumerable
Comprised of countless
Uninformed consciously
Unconsciously connected

The death of one is the death of I
The birth of one is the birth of I
Countless deaths have I died
Countless births am I born

Yet still am I angered at the death of I
Yet still am I pleased at the birth of I
The struggle of form still engages I
The acceptance of formlessness still embraces I

I am life, I am death
I am form, I am formlessness
And yet I exist between the two
Saddened and gladdened by the two

I seek the center
The middle between two extremes
Does neutrality exist
Only in peace I fear...

Can my family live in such a way
Can my family love in such a way
When greed does hold such a sway
When fear does hold such away

I pray for peace
I long for unity
I live for solidarity
I love for life

Lovers 1st date

Early morning, pre dawn
With stars still out
We set a blaze
Our love keeps us warm
And lights the way before us
As we walk and whisper in the woods
Best friends, lovers, equals

Hiking higher through the tree line
Straight on to the peak
We stop to unload and prepare a prayer
The Sun breaks as gratitude wells within our hearts
Hand in hand, side by side
We greet the world and Source a new this day

Laughing, telling jokes we set our picnic up
Fresh fruit, nuts, and mimosas
Pepper the space between topics of philosophy, ecology, spirituality, science, renewable energies, self sufficiency and so much more
Cuddling as we explore explore each other and our selves

Later we write a wish each, upon a kite
Holding on to each other as we take flight
Up into the air we send our dreams together
Turning to each other,
Smiling
We each let go and watch
As the wind delivers our dreams to the great beyond

What greater gift exists than love?

What greater gift exists than love?

Life is lived through relationships
In each moment Shes waiting
Ever ready for Your court

In instances of inspiration
I see the glint of Her eyes in all things
I feel the warmth of her smile
in the harmony and balance between all things

And I wonder as I remember this
How have i let Myself forget this greatest of Loves again?
How could i ever think myself apart from this power?

Too soon these eyes grow dim in the absence of remembrance
I long for the bright eyes ever looking forward and within
Too soon does this heart throw up it's walls
lacking courage and growing cold
As i unconsciously convince myself that all i have is me

O let this Heart grow strong again
To be that boy born of true intent once more
Rushing forward in faith, knowing
What is meant to be already has come to pass
I need only prepare myself

O Great Spirit, O Great Love
I wish to never look away
but to only see you always and in all things
Let me go deaf so I may hear
Let me grow mute so I may speak
Let me become numb so I may feel and taste the Truth
Let me forget me for I AM wise

What are you

What are you
That stands so calmly
Upon the broken glass
Of a cold foreign field
Inching quietly across

Are you not me
I ponder questioningly
Listening of altruism on NPR
Seeking that which would...
See us as each other

In the silence
Lies the answer
I am
Without word
Without form
I am

The conscionable killer

No person, nor people
Are my enemy
All are my brothers and sisters
All are my mother's and father's
All are my children
We are one

In no way, shape or form
Do I condone murder
And yet
How can I not
Living in this country
This society
This culture
My very presence
Necessitates the deed

How can I conscionably abide
Idly aside
While the food I eat
The water I drink
The place I call home
The government I uphold
The commodities I consume
The ideas I'm taught in school
The very ideals and beliefs
My country
My culture
My society profess
I fundamentally disagree with

What one does to another
They do onto themselves
We've been raised as separatists
And in our self imposed isolation
Have we forgotton our humanity
Our divinity

We've been bred to seek security and comfort
So much so
Most manage to make themselves forget
The immediacy of their own demise
To the loss
Of the true luster and love of life

I've done nothing, to too little
For far too long
Something must be done
And in so doing
Be changed
Yet no thing is changed outwardly
That isn't firstly changed from within
So I see
That it is I that must change
If this world is to change

In due time

How long and in how many ways have we been separated, segregated and subjugated?
Too long have we been fed the lies of fear
Religious, national, social, racial, sexual and all the like
More then our superficial differences are we fundamentally more alike
We all feel pain, desire love and seek meaning in life
How much longer will we allow the lies we were taught to rule the reality we create
The truth is alive inside all of us, Love
Are you not tired of religions which universally preach love
Create congregations that willingly go to war and ignore their needy
Are you not tired of prohibitions on who to love and how to live
We are stronger together then when we are apart
Why else would we be worried about
What ones faith was?
(We all go back to source)
Where someone was born, their color of skin, class, or gender?
(We're all human)
Let us now focus on what we share in common
So we may dissolve the many man made barriers that keep us at bay to one another
How great a world it would be
If all religions and their many practioners
Could respect and see the validity in each others paths back to source
If countries one day were just a word in the dictionary
Describing a by gone time
When humans saw themselves as something other then of the Same
And with the same tenacity we've shown to survive and compete
Let us now come together, cooperate and consciously co-create
With the world of man as one and in harmony with the world of matter and spirit
In due time,
There will be no question without its answer
No sickness without its cure
No hunger without its fill
No absence without its presence
Already have we done great (and terrible) things
Greater still will we accomplish once we are together

Let this moment forever be

Let this moment forever be
From each minute to passing minute
Day to day, year to year, lifetime to lifetime
Let this moment forever be
With which we do commune Great Spirit
Where within me a space is prepared
Where the pools of reflective thinking
Only show the ripples of the heart beat of the one and the all
Where perspectives are realigned
And seeing without sight is seen
It is there that I see my brother for who he truly is
My sister, my father, my mother, my lover... my self
I nearly hear thee in the echos of my heart and mind
Smiling from within me out to all your self
He's getting it, I'm getting it, We're getting it
We've always had it
The beauty (of life), is to remember once again
With those you love
And living in remembrance...
Let this moment forever be <3
