The luxury of silence
I no longer can afford the luxury of silence
Too long have I sat aside
While others would wrong the world
And I, in my quietude
Condone their questionable acts
No better off am I
For not having committed the crime
No, worse I be for quietly conspiring
By showing through my lack of any act
To oppose such wretched things
That I know no better way to be
I have lived this long enough
I have denied my heart
Ignored my soul and sought to drown my hopes
But the flame of my idealism
Will no longer be abandoned
The fortitude of the foundation upon which I stand
Has once again found sure footing, strong legs and a true voice
In my youth
I was made to think such ways might be acceptable
And an inner anger boils deep with animosity
For a world that would take advantage
Over such a handicap as a young boys naievity
But I have since grown
And as my anger dissipates
It leaves behind...
A residue of lucidity, of clarity a crystallization of concept
Where in I see myself and
The motivation which gives rise to the actions I must take
So I may lead the life that calls to me
I see the vision like so many dimonds sparkling in the sun
I see what life I have begun and how it leads off into the great mystery
The not knowing assures me
For it lets me know my path is right
To know is man but "To Be" is the way of deity

He who would know Me
What matter is truth
In a life without love
To what purpose does one endeavor
If not with the will of God
And what man would know Him
Without first knowing himself
And who can know oneself
Without forgiving
Their unnecessary hurts and harshness
No man knows the Father
But by through the Son
And no child shall know their Brother
Till they know their own Heart
And in that Heart
You will find your Brother, your Father
Where they have always been
Awaiting your arrival...
Welcome home
